After several years working as a ceremonies officer for the registration service I got a little bored with the drag and drop system of creating a ceremony. It was clear to me that the people I met wanted something that was more personal. That is when I decided to become an independent celebrant where I could specialise in conducting personalised ceremonies for significant life events, such as weddings, vow renewals and naming ceremonies. I have had a break for a few years but now the time feels right for me to start spreading some joy again, and I hope you’ll join me on this journey.

It can be simple or elaborate, formal or unconventional but it will always be unique. You Have Complete Freedom and Flexibility
One of the biggest advantages of a celebrant-led ceremony is the lack of restrictions. You are not bound by a specific location, time, or set of rules. Want a ceremony in your garden, in a woodland, on a beach? No problem. Want to get married on your birthday, at midnight, Christmas Day? No problem. Want a hymn, some wise words from a religious text, a sing along? No problem.
If I am not already booked and we get the land owners permission the only limits are your imagination. You are free to choose any venue, select your own readings and music without limitations, integrate symbolism, rituals and traditions.
